SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submissions are now closed.
We pay contributors for successful submissions.
You may submit up to three unpublished poems of any length in a Microsoft Word (.docx) document. Email submissions to symposiamagazine@gmail.com. In the body of your email please also include a short bio of no more than three sentences.
We don’t accept simultaneous submissions, but poems can have been published previously on your own social media.
We are currently only accepting submissions from writers living in Aotearoa New Zealand, or from those with a significant connection to our whenua. Please get in touch if you’d like to query about this.
Our editors read submissions blind, so please do not include your name in the attached document.
As our project is to support emerging poets, we are not currently reading work by those who have published a chapbook or full-length collection of poetry at the time of submission.
Calls for submissions are always announced on our socials and website. Submissions for Issue 3 close on the 1st of December.
